Steve MacDonald, MBA

Steve leads FogPharma’s day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including general ledger, monthly and quarterly close processes, payroll, procure-to-pay, tax, financial reporting, technical accounting, treasury, and technology systems. Steve has worked in finance and accounting for over 20 years, beginning with several years in the Boston technology/life sciences audit practice of PwC. He has worked in the biopharmaceutical sector for over 10 years, including six years with TESARO, Inc., through its acquisition by GlaxoSmithKline. While at TESARO, Steve helped scale the finance organization and support business expansion as the company grew from the clinical stage and headcount of 55 to over 750 employees, had two product approvals and launches in the U.S. and the European Union, executed multiple license/collaboration arrangements, and established operations throughout Europe. Steve is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College and an MBA from Suffolk University.
